How Can chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Be Treated?

I have been diagnosed with zero stage chronic lymphocytic leukemia within the last year, last test with 25.1 level. Within last 2 months have noticed a flat rectangular rash occurring maybe 1x3 Iins. In length. Seems to go way with topical cortisone in week to 10 days. Can it be related to this blood condition.Hematocrit, and platelet level so far have been in normal level, next 3 month test is in April. Thx, Gene B.

Hello,

It is not related to leukaemia. If the rashes reappear, you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
